SharePoint is designed to do many things, but it is not designed to do all things. Knowing how to extend SharePoint can make a good SharePoint site into a great SharePoint experience. Come learn about where SharePoint can be extended and different approaches to grow the reach and the connection that your SharePoint site has with your users.

Owen Allen has been working in the software space as a developer, product manager, sales engineer, consultant, and business development professional for 18 years. 8 of those years were at Microsoft, including time on the SharePoint corporate product management team. Owen joined Pingar (based in Auckland), in January 2012, and is helping to lead sales and business development in the U.S. Owen lives in Seattle, WA, with his wife and four children.
