A Global Battle ApproachesThis year's edition of Global Startup Battle is going to be bigger and better than ever. More than 1000 teams in more than 100 cities compete for world startup domination! |

A global battle unlike any the world has ever seen approaches. November 9th-18th, Startup Weekend teams will compete as a part of Global Entrepreneurship Week*. On the weekends of November 9-11 and 16-18, hundreds of teams around the world will compete in Global Startup Battle with one goal in mind: To dominate the competition! Teams will build a company from scratch in just a weekend. Participants converge as individuals on Friday evening, form teams around ideas, and build their products over the next 54 hours – culminating in one final pitch to a panel of expert judges on Sunday night.
Last year, GSB winner AfterShip took home lots of great prizes includling a free trip and table Launch Conference in San Francisco, a place at Demo Asia, over $25,000 in free services from companies like Cooley, Btrax, Kauffman Foundation, and more. They scored some great prizes and even raised some money! This year is even going to be more epic. We are lining up lots of great prizes including a free VIP trip to Rio De Janeiro for the Global Entrepreneurship Congress! We have an awesome, brand new website with all the details.
